Daylight Saving Time Begins
Just a friendly reminder to “Spring forward” next week. Sunday, 3.14.2021 is the start of Daylight Saving Time.
And another friendly reminder that it is Daylight Saving (singular), not Daylight Savings (plural).
I really like having light later into the evening, I just wish we didn’t have to sacrifice an hour of sleep to make it happen. And by a cruel coincidence of the calendar, Daylight Saving Time begins on 3.14 this year.
That’s right: Pi Day is only 23 hours long this year. And you thought 2020 was a rough year…
I know what you’re thinking: “who’s going to be celebrating Pi Day at 2am?”
Nobody, that’s who. Because there won’t be any 2am next Sunday. It goes right from 1:59am to 3:00am. Except in Hawaii and Arizona. And Guam. If you live in Guam, you can celebrate Pi Day at 2am this year.
Wherever you are in the world, and whenever you eat your pie, you should plan on joining us next Sunday at 10am Mountain Daylight Time, in person or live on Facebook.
